Talk Submission Timeline
- April 1: Call-for-Proposals Opens
April 29 @ 11:59pm PDT: Call-for-Proposals ClosesCall-for-Proposals deadline EXTENDED to Tuesday, May 6th (11:59pm PDT)- May 7th-May 22nd: Proposals Reviewed
- May 28th: All CFP applicants informed of decision
Workshop details and general registration will be released in the coming weeks! Our complete program and schedule will be released after CFP applicants have been informed of our selection decisions, specific date TBD. Please stay tuned for details.
Program Committee & Talk Review
All RustConf talk proposals will be reviewed by the following individuals.
- Chair: Ernest Kissiedu – Rust London Meetup Co-Organizer, Rust Nation UK Planning Team, Rust Foundation Global Rust Community Coordinator
- Josh Stone – Rust Project Library and Release Team Member
- Adam Harvey – Rust Foundation Software Engineer
- Samuel Lijin – Seattle Rust User Group Member, Software Engineer
- Brad Gibson – Seattle Rust User Group Organizer, CTO & CISO
- Bart Massey – Associate Professor of Computer Science, Rust & Open Source Advocate.
Submissions will be reviewed and scored anonymously in the first round to ensure equal consideration of all proposals. The RustConf planning team will review a final recommended list of talk submissions for approval to ensure a good balance of subject matter and speaker backgrounds.
